New in late 2003a work about growth through experience, published prior to the installation of new sculpture by the same name. The body cast, even as I wore it, seemed to be a metaphor for the constraints we place on ourselves as well as the freedoms we choose. Many years later, it retains its potency. FRUIT SENSE It may make no sense, but a faux postage portfolio of faux first day of issue commemorative stamps seemed sensible at the time! The images are from my original color and black and white photos of tropical fruit in various stages of freshness. I scanned the slides into the computer. I hand-colored the black and white photos and scanned them.
